BIG changes

i was so inspired by sam's comittment to her blog that i decided to reach out to those far away & begin my own blog to keep you all posted on the latest happenings in my wonderful world!

of course, many of you know that Ryan & I are going through some BIG changes in our lives right now...

* first off, Ryan got a job offer from Ag 1 Source in Hesston, KS as an Ag Placement specialist - and after much pondering over the opprotunity he accepted the position - basically he's a headhunter for agriculture jobs

* secondly, we've moved! obviously, driving back and forth to Hesston from Abilene (about an hour drive) was a bit out of the question, although Ryan did it for 2 weeks before we found a
house in Hesston

* thirdly, surprise....we're having a baby! yep, you heard right...nothing like just jumping into life head first

so here we are living in Hesston & we have our house in Abilene listed with Reynolds Real Estate - hoping it will sell soon :) we are finishing the basement in our Hesston house & hope to have that done within a couple of months so we can get a bit more organized...right now things are a bit askew! i will post some pictures as soon as i can get this upload to work; for now it's time for supper & my kick butt lasagna! yummy

This is the new house before it was painted. Maybe I'll get a pic of it now that it is dark brown. We're having to deal with not having any grass in the yard & cleaning Kasey's muddy feet about 3 or 4 times a day! But we're working on getting some sod lined up so we don't have to deal with that anymore.

First baby pic! ok, I think it might be really weird that I am posting a copy of my sonogram - yes, that is just a bit odd. I was only at 8 weeks here so you really can't see much of anything...it just looks like a little shrimp in there. When I saw it at the Dr office you could see this little white blip that was the heart beating...pretty cool. I'll have another sonogram later & we should be able to see a lot more then.

Ryan & Kasey watching their new big screen TV. You can see the dining room & the deck in the background. You'll notice that right now all we have for a dining room table is our folding table & chairs! Our real table is still in Abilene - "staging" the house :)
